Privacy policy
This policy explains what happens to information you give us through this website. It is deliberately specific: it describes what the site actually does rather than every possibility.

Who we are
This site is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“SQSOL”, “we”, “us”), [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We are the data controller for the information described below. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@sqsol.com.
What we collect
The contact form. When you submit it we receive exactly four things, plus the time you sent it:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company (optional — you can leave it blank)
- The message you write
The form also contains a hidden field used to catch automated spam. It is invisible to people, and anything submitted in it is discarded rather than sent on.
We do not use cookies, analytics or trackers. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and stores nothing in your browser. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Why we use it, and on what basis
Solely to read and reply to your enquiry, and to carry out any work that follows from it. We do not use it for marketing lists and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Our lawful basis is your consent, given by choosing to send us the message, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us about our services.
Who else sees it
Our enquiry delivery provider. Form submissions are passed to a third-party service that delivers them to our inbox. It receives the four fields above. It processes them on our instructions and does not use them for its own purposes.
Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To deliver them, Google necessarily receives your IP address and browser details on every page you view — including this one. This happens whether or not you use the contact form. If that matters to you, a content blocker will stop it and the site will still work, using your system fonts.
Our hosting provider. Like any website, ours runs on infrastructure that processes requests in order to serve pages.
If a delivery failure occurs, your name, email and company are written to our server logs so the enquiry is not lost. Your message content is not written to those logs.
Where it goes
Our delivery provider and Google may process this information outside [COUNTRY / JURISDICTION], including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Where an enquiry becomes a project, we keep the correspondence for as long as we work together and afterwards only as long as we need it for tax, accounting or legal reasons.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Restrict or stop our use of it
- Provide it in a portable format
Email hello@sqsol.com and we will respond within one month. You will not be charged. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to [SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY].
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so please do not send us passwords, financial details or other sensitive information through the contact form.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information — for example by adding analytics or a new provider — we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
